Thread: alarm drama

Hi all how are we
So lately I've had a couple of dramas my td5 alarm and locking system.
Gone to unlock car and nothing happens. Press button on keys red light on keys comes on but doors don' t unlock. Then use the key to open door and yep alarm goes off. Plus can't start car or shut off made for a annoying scene at local shops. Leave it for 10-15 mins and hey presto all good.
Anyone had similar drama or any ideas how to fix it.

Do you have the manual key access code (EKA)? this should allow you to open the door and mobilise the car without dramas.

Make sure the fob battery is O.K.

Does it happen just in one place? If so could be radio interference from some emitter causing grief.
If it happens again,place key inside right front mudguard and press button.
the guard acts as a RF shiekd.
