    Very happy d2 owner!!

    G'day all,

After some recent trips to Mt. Mee and Bribie island I'm very confident in Looseys(my D2A) ability to tackle Fraiser island in a few weeks time. V8 auto and CDL in soft sand and loosely was a weapon. Coming from a gq 4.2 patrol I was a little worried the d2 was a little bit softer, couldn't have been more wrong. Loosey is just more much much more civilized at doing what she does best(sand, dirt, mud)

Also took Mrs Poonzo up to Mt Mee for an easy 4x4ing day. Easy untill it rained and turned dirt to mud. However, loosely was amazing and got us out safely and Mrs Poonzo with hair intact!!

    Just my happy experiences

    take care

GQ's are a pig full stop, and unfortunately so are many of their owners.

It's the difference between driving a truck(Nissan) and a car (LR). Bog standard LR will out perform most other 4wds (just don't try and tell the others-they won't believe you).

Yep, probably did totally the wrong thing at Bribie one day, put my son in the drivers seat, approached the washout from one of the creeks, about 2 metres, told him to approach it at 45 degrees, 2000 revs, high 2nd, a few jeeps, Toyotas, sitting, wondering, we did it easy. Foolish? yeah, maybe, but good fun, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
