Drivers Door Lock
Hi all, like some advice. Went to open my D2 with the remote and alas the open button had deteroriated (plastic knob fallen off), I was able to unlock the car with key to be met by the alarm going off. Iwas able to start and drive. I have since swapped keys to a working remote fob but for some unknown reason the drivers side door will not repond to the button. All other doors will open with the fob. I have reset the BSU with the EKA code via the drivers door lock and got the appropraite beeps, so now unlocking with the key is not met with the alarm blarring. The drivers door will lock with the remote fob but not unlock - remains super locked (reponds the same if the superlock is activated from inside the cab). I don't think it is actuator due to the circumstance but it would appear my BCU is confused. Any thoughts?

Stranger things have happened. I had two actuators fail within just 4 hours of each other.
I thought it may of been something else but two new actuators later and I'm good to go.

Sounds like an actuator playing up. Around $180 for new genuine from memory.
Re. your key fob,if you mean the button has disintergrated, thats pretty common.
Google "Polmex" they supply replacement button sections for many cars including LR.around $19 .Bit fiddly at first, but I have done 2 and saved heaps by doing so.
