Which do you refer to as they have two different offerings in their shock absorbers?
They're stuff isn't bad. I prefer the Bilstein shocks and King Springs, but significantly more in cost.
Anyone running this kit on Their Disco 2?
If so, any feedback?

Wouldn't touch them. My old man put some ironman shocks on his d2 and they were cactus after 10000kms.
He towed a small van and had the red airbags inside the springs on the rear.
Both front and rear shocked failed .

How'd the warranty go?
From what I recall Ironman sell both Foam Cell and Nitro Shockies. I fitted the Nitro units to another guys D2 and he has been happy with them and had no issues.
I have also fitted Maxitrac, which I have been told is Repco's homebrand product, made by Ironman and just painted a different colour to a D1 and the owner was stocked and has had no issues in the years since.
I briefly had the Foam Cells in my D2a. I have no complaints about them but moved to the Bilsteins when I changed to a 4" lift, the Bilsteins are certainly the superior product.
I've currently got stock set up but am going to upgrade to a 2" lift and install it myself with couple Mates help.
Looked on ebay and there some good deals with tough dog kit, raw shocks/king springs combo and I'm looking at doing own kit which will be terrafirma shocks and anarchy springs and steering damper all up under $900 bucks
So have a shop around and might find something else which you might prefer.
I have found the springs to be a bit variable in quality. Fitted a kit to the Defender at 50k. Had to replace the front coils after 80k but the rears are still going after 270K!
The shocks are garbage when you have to put them to work over corrugations and such like, both the foams and the nitros. I found the actual shock not bad at doing as a shock should just not lasting and the rears broke eyes a lot.
I have RAW/Powerdowns now and they seem to work well, if a little stiff for coils.
Cheers Scott
Another option is the oztecs. They come with a life time warranty and are priced in the middle range. I ran these in my previous disco 2 with King springs and 2 inch lift and they went very well. I got them from GSA suspension in slacks creek Brisbane.
Currently I have 4 inch dobsons and bilsteins shocks.
They are a very harsh ride but handle well.
Regards,
Michael.
Thanks for all the input guys, I think I'll go with King springs and Bilstein shocks.
