Thank fot taking the time to respond guys I appreciate it, the only reason I think that the slabs maybe crook is the fact faults previously should have given me the 3 amigos, should the abs light come on the dash when I disconnect all the plugs from the abs unit because I did that and no light came on dash, hill desent lights and function works fine, ive never seen the tc light come on in low or high, I got the three gongs but no lights when I had a defective rh front sensor, cdl light comes on when I engage it so that seems to work ok, ive bought a slabs module 000150 so hopefully that may resolve this frustrating issue, can you point me to a reference to installing the slabs as I assume that it will need to be setup via the nanocom, I still have the other issue with brake pedal going rock hard and loosing braking force so thats another issue I cant seem to resolve
thanks again for all your comments, Im supposed to be taking it to cape york in June but im almost to afraid to
cheers

In an english forum I came across something like this:This guy looks at his SLABS and finds a box wired to it that is not supposed to be there. It seems a previous owner found a way to turn the Amigos on when the vehicle was being started, and turn them off after a few seconds. The thread was something like"look what I found"....Might get rich selling something like that!

well offtrack i did what you advised and I have no hdc no lights on no nothing just the gongs, so maybe the slabs is faulty, Ill try the earth as well between slab and earth, just connected nanocom and fault is shuttle valve electrical failure, does this mean slabs and abs pump replacement

The other post on fault codes you made is related to this. The SLABS ground reference fault indicates there is a problem with either wiring or possibly a slabs ecu failure. I'd be eliminating the ground wiring as a suspect as a first priority.
The shuttle valve fault is fairly common cause of the amigos, and the fixes are well documented if you search for 'option a"'or "option b". there is a lot of information on how to repair on the forum, and it doesn't require a new modulator.
