Thread: Transmax Z no longer available. How about this instead?

There is still Transmax Z around.
I don't know whether it is old stock but it is also now back on the Castrol website.
I got 4 litres at Burson West Gosford about 4 weeks ago.
I tried Repco , but the West Gosford Branch didn't have any, but told me other branches in sydney did.

Yes, this is good stuff. I have used the present ATF-FS(in a D2 TD5 with a 4HP22) and its predecessor ATF SYN for the last 140,000km. I tried the semi synthetic for one change but went back to the full synthetic. Nice smooth changes(much smoother changes than the semi-synthetic) . No overheats while towing. I could go down the path of this is the best stuff ever made, there's nothing better etc. In the end it's transmission fluid and it works.
