correct, a common retro fit for people who have damaged their pans or want the ease of inspecting the oil level and condition without having to pull the filler plug.

Been thinking and given the transmax z is $80 a bottle I'm not real keen to waist any in the changing process.
When a cooler hose blows off does the pump empty the whole system? Is it to much of a risk to pull the fill and drain plug and run the car for 10 seconds to pump out as much only stuff as possible? Not going the get real hot doing that. Also thought is it effective to remove one of the "quick" connect hoses from the cooler and use compressed air to force the old stuff out of the system. Would that also push the old fluid out of the TC?

Might be simpleton thoughts by my thoughts none the less. Cheers Matt

Also is the disco one auto tranny pan the that fits the td5 tranny from a v8 or Tdi? Or both? Keen on a dip stick for easy refill and fluid check.

Could the flush process be done over a few weeks ? Or don't dex 3 and transmax z play well together ?

Incredibly not all DII auto gearboxes have oil coolers! I've seen an unmodified DII V8 that did NOT have the oil cooler lines coming out of the transmission. The owner pointed it out to me, and I had to crawl underneath to have a look for myself.

Can't say I understand the logic of Land Rover deleting the oil cooler for a certain VIN range.

So with a PWR cooler where should I mount the thing? and whats the best way to plumb it into the tranny fluid circuit.
