D2 TD5 key lost it's sync and won't resynched
To start with my key has been working fine.
I ended up with a spare key so used my old nanocom to program the second key. Synced key all good, and remote worked, but First key stopped working. So synced both keys and all good according to nanocom, but they don't remotely lock or unlock now.
Tried re synching just the original fob but no go.
Rf tests ok, but won't sync.
As a side, Bought myself a new nanocom evo and just went through the detect key function on my other d2 and it worked and found the key straight away.
Tried same on the problem car and it won't detect the key. Rf tests ok on evo as well though.

Keys
Is the problem car an early d2?
Mine is and it runs the 315 Mhz keys, rather than 433 Mhz on later cars.
Once the RF test passes, perseverance will get the thing to sync.
you do have to take care to sync it, then disconnect Nano com nicely and lock the car.
I usually have to look up the procedure every time.

I had a challenge once with Barry and it wouldn't unlock. I opened it with the key and could use the remote to turn the alarm off. And it worked fine after that. Not sure if this helps. Matt

The only sure way is to check the receiver in the roof lining or vin number. I had similar situations between cars where one key would work fine with the first car but not be detected by the second.
