Thanks for the input fellows i think i will go down the road ScotsD2 said start with the basics and work up. The thing is it does nothing wrong it don't miss a beat it don't let out any sharp crack when you first start up its not using coolant as such and it run normal on the gauge even towing a van up hills i will order a pile of new hoses and flush system and see what happens after that.
It would be very interesting to hear back on how you get on?

The header tank cap is what controls the coolant
pressure if the Oring's are flat they could let
coolant out of overflow pipe.
If the pressure release valve is faulty it could
hold excess pressure in the system or not
allow enough pressure to prevent coolant boiling
its a cheap part to swap get genuine one its
another service item.
Get the basics right.
PS it's 0c here if you have excess heat I wouldn't
mind some.

Yes i am going to do all the cheaper stuff first pressure cap, thermostat, and hoses and see how it goes after that.
Just a quick update to the problem i was having problem solved replaced the header tank cap (radiator cap) water pump hose and header tank hose they had gone very soft and were swelling under pressure causing the coolant level to drop in header tank as it filled the space taken up in the swollen hoses the cap was faulty holding to much pressure when you release the cap and the pressure drops the hoses would return to size displacing the coolant back to the tank so a huge relief it was a cheap repair and not a head or gasket now when the engine is cold there is no pressure in the system and the coolant levels normal :) thanks everyone for your help.
