Diff lock sensor light
I have a 200 disco2 Recently had probs with gearbox unable to put into low drive. Took to transmiss centre and had check and now ok. However just recently I noted that the sensor light for the diff lock, comes on when I brake. This is the only time it comes on. I have been told to check all fuses -- done, no probs, and that it may be an ABS sensor problem. Anyone come up against this prob and can offer any assistance. It is the red sensor light on the left hand side of the dash display. Cheers Lyn Just noted that the light also comes on when I go into reverse, but goes off as soon as I go into normal drive.

yes, Ive had it happen...
found this happens when the brake light fuse is blown.
when you put it in reverse or touch the brake pedal it lights up the diff lock light.
I bet you have no reverse or brake lights.....
