    Self levelling suspension.

Decided to bypass compressor, valves etc and run air straight to springs via Schrader valves. Idea was to make system simpler but still have ability to adjust height.
What has me scratching my head is that I need different amounts of air pressure each side for same height. 80 psi rh 65 psi lh. Same height???
    I don't understand why.
    Anyone have ideas?

Different weights certainly do impact pressures. However, be careful to inflate springs evenly as inflating one side will also raise other side and consequently reduce pressure.

I know this from my Patrol traytop that I converted to full air.

Personally I would stick with the original system (I just put a kit through my compressor) as from my limited experience it seems to work well. I enjoy not having to manually adjust heights etc with different loads like I have to with my Patrol. In your case it sounds like you've committed yourself.

those pressures are about right from memory--
I think its to do with the offset of the transfer case mostly,,

I've been running mine like this for about 3 - 4 months now as I just haven't had time to get everything set up.

I have an aftermarket compressor that I'll mount under the bonnet, that'll feed a air tank (small fire extinguisher). Then the factory compressor will be replaced by electric valves which will let air into the system.

You'll find the setup you have will be pretty maintenance heavy. I have found the air bags to be very soft around centre meaning a little bit of weight added or taken out will make a big difference to the vehicle height. I get over an inch of change in vehicle height from an empty tank of fuel to a full tank. I was adding air every time I fueled it and then letting a little out by about half a tank. It's a hassle to find level ground and measure the left to right difference all the time.

    Happy Days.

Looks like using the original system is the way to go then. One thing I don't like about it is how it lowers whichever side has its door opened. Always look at in the driveway with a lean to drivers side. Unnecessary function I reckon.
Could this be fixed by cutting door switch wires into slabs ecu?

It lowers itself because the weight has changed. If it bothers you so much try getting out of the car with it still running, shut the door let it level itself then open the door and shut it down.
