    Use the savings to bring the td5 up to scratch.

    Exactly this. The TD5 is the best way to go for a Disco of this age. Got to have your tractor sounding like a tractor after all!

    You cannot not have a V8 Disco...they are just very cool. The TD5 isnt

    Look for one that has sequential LPG already installed and you will be sorted.

    Free flow cats and good muffler and you are in aural heaven - even when idling around. 4.0's with the right exhaust sound better than most other V8's - Rover V8's have always sounded better than their small cc has a right to sound.
