    Is there supposed to be an O-ring in there....?

    Hey guys! just wondering if there is supposed to be an O-ring in the groove displayed in the attached picture. Its at the front of the water pump where the power steering pump bolts into. I certainly don't remember taking one out but would like to check before I bolt it all back together

    Baz, is this a V8? I have a new spare water pump for my TD5 and I just went and had a look at it to see if I could help with your question. It is nothing like yours.

    Dave ,I think the photo is of the housing looking from the power steer pump drive ? From what I recall there is no O-Ring in that position. The only O-Rings are on the pump itself.
