    The blanking plate stops the exhaust gas from going to the valve. Pipe replaces the valve.

    (The Rubber EGR Solenoid Blanking Plugs) On the link below; any one have an image of where on the solenoid they fit?

    I didn't get those Rubber EGR Solenoid Blanking Plugs.

    My kit didn't include them either. I used the little black rubber bits off the ends of wire coat hangers.

    Im pretty sure you remove the VACUUM HOSE that was attached to your acuator and plug the hose.

    I think it is the green one?

    Hi ZippoParis, I work just down the road from you, in the big motorcycle shop on the left, if you want to PM me you can trundle down Princes Highway and I can show you were they fit on my TD5, I can also supply a couple of small rubber bungs that are intended for motorcycle throttle bodies but work a treat on the LR solenoid. Let me know if your coming as I don't drive the Landy every day, but here today Thursday, and probably tomorrow.
