I'm certainly not going to tell Wabco their business,,
so I'll just ask a question--

If there are 4 individual brake lines from the wabco unit---

why do you need to start at the furthest wheel?

I posted up a Nanocomised bleed procedure based on that document a while back. But as everyone seems to think they know better than Wabco/LR it's disappeared into the mire of lost and ignored information that is AULRO

If you believe RAVE you should start at the closest wheel to the modulator and work around to the wheel furthest from the modulator...

    1 Passenger Front
    2 Driver Front
    3 Passenger Rear
    4 Driver Rear

The RAVE manual bleed is essentially the same as the one in the WABCO document apart from the bleed order.

    cheers

    All

    Update and final outcome.

I don't mind being a test bunny for some things but not sure this is the norm (which according to the horror stories is probably a good thing)

Did the 'old school' pedal pump. Nothing else. All good and back to how it was prior. (I'm surprised as much as anyone)

From what I can gather I have done everything possible to make this the most difficult brake bleed possible and still had no issues bleeding the brakes with the pedal pump method.

Just for the record I have a D2a 2003 V8. I disconnected the brake lines at the master cylinder and left them disconnected over night. Finished the master cylinder the next day. Tried to bleed the brake solo but this was in vain (the Power Bleed process). Left this and went back to the normal process with two people. Didn't disconnect the brake lines anywhere else.

    Everything works (ABS/TC/HDC).

    All good

    Regards
    Andrew

I have heard of people placing the vehicle on 50 degree inclines because they were unable to bleed the brakes. When did they stop and take a step back and say, what the **** am I doing??? Get some more oxygen in those workshop people.
