The DCV is worth changing every 50000kms its gets
cloged with oil and gunge and doesn't function properly.
Might be worth flushing intercooler after you change DCV
It should be flushed at 130000kms minimal but more if
see oil in the hoses.
checked all hoses and fittings on the IC yesterday during a light service and noticed that there was a film of black oil (sump oil in appearance) throughout the intercooler inlet pipe (between the air filter and the turbo) which no doubt continues through the intercooler itself to the inlet manifold.
Is this a normal occurence ... or is it due to a failure of the turbo seals or PCV valve?![]()
