    Water Pump on the way out?

    2000 D2 TD5 about 260,000 on the clock.

    I have just noticed a little puddle of coolant on the floor and it looks like the coolant hose, but I believe it is attached to the water pump and while I can't see it I suspect this is what is leaking and just running down the outside of the coolant hose.

    I don't know if it leaks while driving or after it is turned off no major loss of coolant yet. I have attached a photo for the more experienced in water pump failure. As far as I am aware never had a new pump.

    On the housing there is a small weep hole. Looking at that I would say yep water pump time. Both air con hose and water pump hoses look wet.

    Booked it in to get sorted tomorrow. Driving to Brisbane in the next month so big time paranoid to make sure I get it sorted before heading off.

    When my water pump went it leaked that lovely pink stuff...

    Happily it wasn't an expensive fix.
