Are they the Bendix 4x4 that are giving you lots of dust mate? iOr the
    rears
The pads are giving normal amounts of dust.

The point was that I did quite a bit of dusty road travel and the pads don't squeal, which is common for some pads to do.
    Sorry if unclear.
In summary I am very happy with the pads which are a bit cheaper than OEM but then OEM are priced OK at $100 AFAIR.
    Regards Philip A

Ive just installed some cheap Zircon pads all round, no squeal they come with full shims and are chamfered unlike the mintex I had previously had.

The fronts do produce dust and hard braking does fade them but that is after a good 6-8 hard braking stops/slowdowns in a row (I probably should not push my disco so hard). I'm very pleased with them considering all 4 paws where under 60 bucks.

Well I dropped into Super Cheap Auto. 1130 is the Bendix part number for rear pads and they are avalible in all the Bendix compounds, General CT, 4x4 SUV, Heavy Duty and Ultimate. My problem is I cant get any info on the compounds.

Ferodo could be a bit hard for me to find at the moment and since me front rotors are pretty worn and going to need replacing with the pads in the not too distant future. I'm thinking of just chucking some run of the mill cheap pads on the rear and then getting a full set of rotors and Ferodo pads in a few months time.

    Happy Days.

Well this is a bit interesting.

The rear pads are the same as E30 BMW front pads. That's why they are avalible in all the Bendix compounds and many more.

I'm goind with QFM A1RM pads for $79. Ordering them tomorrow.

    Happy Days.

Another plug for the Bendix 4WD pads here. I have been very happy with them front and back.
