    Steering knock

    Afternoon gents (and ladies).

Have a knock on the front end of the disco that I'd like to sort out.
If I go around a RH corner, something will knock or clunk to the LHS.
If I go around a LH corner, it feels like it 'clunks' back.

New in the last year are springs, shocks, steering arms and RHS ACE assy, hopefully eliminating those items from consideration.

Any ideas on what I should be looking at..?

    Cheers
    Shane

Be interested to see what you find, I've got the same thing, thinking it's anti-roll bar bushes.

Yeah that's what I was leaning towards too.
I'm sure every bush in the car is flogged out so I might start to think about replacements..

Could be as simple as a sway bar bush (what I have atm) or a broken sway bar link, mine gave up between last xmas and new year on the way home from Craigs Hut near Cheshunt. And with ACE it made a racket. Pulled the ace fuse for a week until new links arrived.

I just replaced the front and rear tie rods with upgraded units. Stopped the clunking. I also previously replaced the ACE roll bar to chassis bushes and it stopped another clunk.

    Will.
