There's a couple of really good how to threads on here, from a few years ago.
It is a ***** of a job, particularly if you have a dual battery tray on the firewall.

This is (as mentioned) for V8's.

Measure the location of the stud on the steel plate. Cut and buff all the rubber off the alloy section of the original mounts. Mark the location of the stud on the underside of the alloy and drill and tap this to suit the thread of the D1/RRC round engine mounts. Screw these into the alloy. Make a 10mm thick spacer plate and this goes between the chassis and the underside of the round mount.

Enjoy. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

We are talking about TD5 engine mounts right??

Just to pep you all up, I have changing both mounts in 1 hour, doing them on a Defender is easier again haha. Trust me when I say its a job that you get down pat when doing it a lot.

*Its easier to do both mounts at once.
*Use only genuine mounts as the non genuine ones still cause vibration and collapse early.

    Regards
    Daz
