There is no common or most likely fault. People argue over that when a question or likely cause is posted without diagnosis ...

#1 Bad connections in wiring
A shuttle valve switch to modulator main body connector.
Easiest cure option B.

#2 connectors to ABS modulator
Remove connectors clean with contact cleaner and fit remove a couple of times.

#3 ABS sensor wire plugs
They are in exposed places on the outside of main cabin.
See above.
These can also get damp and cause issues inside the car at the SLABS ECU due to leaking windscreen etc.
Fix leaks clean connectors.

#4Distance or cleanliness of wheel sensors.
Check wheel bearings for play check sensor is seated correctly.
Check sensor wiring.

That is some of the common ones
get the car on diagnostic computer to get the best diagnosis.

If it was shuttle switches and it went to a workshop it would probably cost in excess of $2K.

Nanocom also indicated an issue with shuttle valve switches with my Disco. Ended up being a loose wire in the ABS connector block.... Option B would also have fixed the problem.... So, the tool only takes you so far.

yes the tool only takes you so far but it does point you in the right direction and can save you time and money.

That's my point. It isn't the total answer to issues, it narrows down the diagnostic area but some grey matter and further observations may be required.
