Are these globes legal in the D2 when the standard is something like 55/50w. Everyone bangs on about putting in HIDs and their illegality but never about big Halogens. I get blinded far more by over spec and poorly adjusted Halogens than I do HIDs.

    Jeff,

2003 is face lifted different Hi / Low bulb sets 4 bulbs in total.
    Up to 2002 (include) it's only 2 bulbs, each 60/55 W filament.

The harness advertised IMHO is compatable with D2.

I fitted a 20 year old harness into my 2002 D2 with no problems.

As long as it is H4, all you do is plug an existing H4 headlight socket into the provided male connector that emulates a headlight bulb, connect the + and -to the battery, and connect the loom plugs to the headlight bulbs.

The only thing with a D2 is to have a harness long enough to thread under the air cleaner and over the radiator to reach the RH Headlight from the rear mounted battery.
It's not rocket science it's plug and play.
