I haven't had any luck with cheap ebay one's, tried that & then had to fork out for a OEM - VDO maf anyway

The maf is something not to skimp on unfortunately,
Best to spend the $$ up front.

Pay twice. Once for a cheap part, again for the quality part....

    Hello,
Cheaper ones do quite hash gear shifts for a auto and quite a bit of lag, I believe that Roverlord on this forum does good VDO ones for a good price you should contact him.

I bought one from alliexpress. Spring-Auto $50 AU. Claim to be a manufaturer of these and many others.

Very quick to process the order arrived in five days. Comunicated in fluent english polite prompt etc.

Seams well made on the out side. Plastc molding etc.

The PROBE inside is definatley different than the genuine one.

BUT there is always a BUT.

On the genuine one the plug numbers go 3,2,1, printed on were the multi-plug goes BUT on the import it says 1,2,3

I connected it up "THE WAY THE PLUG GOES" as I was not prepared to cut the multi plug.

When I contacted the seller and asked what her technicians had to say she was unable answer my question in any detail except to say it is normal.

Ive only had it a fortnight.Used maybe a quarter tank fuel.

The truck seems to run well but I have done several jobs on it so not sure if it is ok or not.

I am not skilled enough with a multi meter to be able to determine if it is within the correct parameters.

The way I figure it was I was sure my old MAF was $#%$%$# so I spent $50 to get me out of trouble for a year or so and then I will see were too from there.

But all up I think it must be working cause there is no flat spot/smoke/ it seems to have ALOT more consistant power too.

Any way that was my experience.

    Cheers
