Figures are a bit low for flow ideally should be 50 at idle.
A clogged filter will slow down the amount of air the engine
is trying to draw air in.
The filter will also give diffent reading on your MAP & AAP if
it is clogged.
If you can get the nanocom when you have got a new filter
run the engine with old filter then the new record MAF MAP
and AAP values you will see a change in values.
If you are trying to diagnose the MAF you also need to see
what values you have at high flow engine working hard
about 4000rpm you should see approx 500/550 this will
show how the MAF is working across the rev/airflow range.
On a unmodified engine/ECM.
Cleaning.
You can get specific MAF cleaner from the same manufacturer
but be careful what you use it must be plastic friendly and quick
drying some differing options on what to use make sure its
dry before you switch ignition on.
That ad seems to describe a genuine VDO MAF at reasonable
price.
