    Free Modifications

    Hi,

I have done a search and cant seem to find a thread that describes any free modifications that would improve the Disco 2 in anyway be it on or off-road.

If anyone has any suggestions please post, preferably with pictures and instructions.

    Thank you

I can't think of any free improvements but there's plenty of things to check to make sure thing are working as they should.

Some guy in the UK has a pretty good DIY page. Something like disco2.com.uk or something. Google is your friend. I'd get you the link but I'm posting from my iPhone.

Discovery2.co.uk is what Joel is talking about.

How about we change it to cheap mods?
SLS compressor running light? (so you don't burn out your compressor)
    Low coolant alarm?
    LED interior lighting?

And LEDs in the clearance lights above the blinkers.

Give it a service and clean the MAF.

(With a boost gauge) screw up the waste gate to a quarter turn before boost cut.

Connect the rear fog lights to the brake lights if you don't live in a foggy area and aren't likely to use them for actual fog.

While your giving it a service, drop the sump and add some thread lock to the oil pump bolt. The sump gasket might leak if you don't replace it but if you are going for cheap.

    Happy days.
