Thank you all for the posts. I think I will just leave the glind in the box and take your advices and continue to carry the hot water cube and run it off gas.
    Cheers to you all. Nick.

Mate good move. My brother has one on his County. They work well, but for my money a portable system like the Coleman etc (this has advantage of being able to use the expensive but convenient and light little green bottles - or 9KG lpg if you prefer) water cube etc is better.

    Cheers

    Glind.

Of course I could sell the TD5 and buy another Patrol..... Nar Narnarrrrrr.
I will stick it in the cupboard again and forget about it till I buy a bigger boat and stick it in that . You need at least 25 HP motor to use it.
It will not work of the 10 HP yanmar in the boat I have coming from Newcastle soon as I can get away to tow it home..

Pilbara130, unfortunately your images have gone :/

I am looking to fit one to my V8 D2, but wondering where to find room, i already have a battery in the far right corner of the engine bay.

Has anyone had any success with this?
Is it just the Diesels that people have issues with lack of heat?

    Cheers.

For $449 at BCF you can keep your water cube My better half is still satisfied with a litre of boiling water from the billy in a half a bucket of cold water when we are away combined with a flannel in the pop up shower tent and a good plastic mat on ground. Sooo happy that's the case. Feel sorry for you blokes that have to take a hot water service
