Yes. I did it last year. I followed Slunnie's tutorial with no problems.

    D2a c6100 speedo correction

Hi all, the D2a has a different colour wire, it is in the same location in the plug but it's a yellowish orange with a green trace. At first I thought it might have been faded pink, but I don't think it is. The C6100 works perfectly well. The only trick was determining if the input to it was a sine wave or square wave. I've used the sign wave input and it works perfect.

It was mentioned in an earlier post about longevity.

Mines still going good. It turns 9 this month.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Also for those wondering he's still selling them, I've just ordered one.

Instructions a bit hard to follow, but with the info in this thread it is no problem to install.

Hi all, I am contemplating fitting bigger wheels / tyres to the D2 I have bought but also keeping original set to swap over with larger ones as necessary, so will need this speed correction unit but with the ability to reset the dip switches back / forward.

I just phoned the guy at Hunter DI parts. (I found his ebay store but this item is not listed) Anyway, good news - as at Feb 2025 he still makes them on demand.

He's sent me a text with the details to order unit when I'm ready, and cost is $210 including express post to Brisbane (and presumably other mainland locations in Oz).

    Regards
