ACE leaking
Hi. My mate's td5 ACE is leaking at the I think its the pump. It looks like the pipes are fine. Is it possible leaking inside the pump? Any help/hints much appriciated. Thanks.

in short yes. The pump is just like any hydraulic pump, the seals get hard over time and leak. They are fairly easy to remove and check .

Hmm, that I do not know about. I assume they can be . Have only seen the pump
replaced but maybe some 1 else knows about them.

I had both ace and power steering leaks
I searched and read and purchased some 'Prestone' power steering stop leak.
the levels on both reservoirs had dropped so I topped them up with this product
I have no more leaks
it is a seal conditioner made in USA

Funny, I was in mildura 2days ago and coming back from Wentworth saw a d2 on the side of the road in company with a motor home. I turned around to see if I could help as he pulled over again.
The driver explained that his ACE had sprung a big leak and he was continually topping up to get to Mildura.
Made me glad I don't have it as it would be a disaster for me to have it fail on the Nullarbor or Kimberley.
