For parts I usually use Canberra Motor Works

Hi all,
after dragging my caravan up here from central Vic to Canberra over the weekend, Im sure my viscous fan is not working as it should....
Anyone know the best place to get a replacement??
trying to avoid the stealers
Some local knowledge appreciated.

Thanks, tried them.. but way to expensive, I think so at 500 big ones anyway & they couldn't do any better.
Always dump the mechanical fan and install generic Electric.
Cheers

I found the 2 bottom clips missing off the rad cowling allowing the cowling to move away from the radiator.
Used a couple of cable ties to secure it at the base in place of the clips, been for a run and can hear the fan roaring again when at running temp.
The viscous unit is dry with no trace of fluid leaking so will see how it goes.
Thanks
If you have AC were you using it if its electric fan is faulty
your AC will be dumping more heat.
Thermo for the condenser is working fine,
Had aircon off anyway.
Thanks
They are a complete unit, fan & viscous is 1 unit, the fan blades don't unbolt.
Apart from that, I'm not sure how different they compair to the v8 type.
Must b a reason they are different, maybe operating temp??
To be fair to CMW, they had to source 1 for me & it was most likely from the LR dealer...
