If lifted, shake allways appears if the castor is not corrected. Do not know if yours is lifted.
Check the front ball joints for wear. I have noticed a shake beginning in mine under brakes as the play in the ball joints has progressed. I will be changing the ball joints soon.
Different car, but I have a Datsun race car the does the same thing under brakes with the slightest wear in the ball joints. Sometimes I can't even detect any wear in them but replace them and the problem is solved.
my mechanic came into work today and we got talking about it, he scratched his head and said it has centre diflock, he will remove the front drive shaft and see if this changes anything  I will be in his hands :D
check the front panhard rod bushes, or better replace them. They are cheap! I found they were a problem in both the defer and the D2. Small shake under brakes, started at 80kmh and vanished at 75. Even though there were no visible probs in the D2 bushes new 1s and no more shakes. The Deefer's were noticeable when I turned the steering while parked, a decided "tick" as the steering was rocked.
Cheers Scott
My front discs had hotspots over them... EBC drilled and slotted... 2 months old...
