Just so you know the SLS bags manually operated are greatly effected by a little weight change. I guess it doesn't really matter since you'll have the switches in the cab but I was running with a short length of 4mm tube and shrader valves on the ends until I got my valves and compressor sorted. It would go up and down over an inch and a half just from full to empty in a tank of fuel. Kids getting in and out made a huge differance. I'd fill up with fuel, move over to the air in the servo and top up the bags and then let the air out over a couple of weeks as the fuel level/weight dropped.

The only pain over a couple of weeks was measuring it every time. It wouldn't be much good on a trip as you'd have to find some level ground and then you can't measure your heights and be in the vehicle as well.

I'd suggest you work out some way to read the heights while your in the vehicle and then you can just watch them and top them up or let them down as you need. Don't be surprised if it's a full time job while your driving. I guess thats what SLABS is for though.

If you already have the compressor on board and airbags, your already very close to having it working. All you need are 4 valves and a wiring harness.

If you have any questions, just let me know as I resurected mine from scratch.

    Happy Days.

Thanks for that, I've got your thread bookmarked.
The issue is the main harness on SLS vehicles is different from non SLS.
If I can patch it in, great, and I'll run full SLS.
If not, I might have to go for an aftermarket system.

Just don't jump in too quick. I think I have a valve playing up. They are pretty cheap at $12 delivered from China which I guess is the problem.

I wasn't too worried to replace them after a while as they are cheap but at the time they have been in there the effort to replace them would just anoy me. I'd be replacing them each service. Friar Tuck that.

As the airline going to the left/right valves is only 4mm, there's no point having a bigger line feed it so I'm looking out for a cheap wabco left/right valves to use as my up/down valves.

    Happy Days.

For the winch in/out get a steering wheel stereo control and mod to use for winch.
