Thread: Coolant loss.

1999 D2 td5 with 280k km.
Was using a bit of coolant but suddenly is now using about 1 lt. for 20 km
Engine is running great, no coolant in oil or oil in coolant that I can see.
Some time ago mechanic (non LR) did a sniff test on the expansion tank & said it was not a blown head gasket ?. There is no visible signs of leaks anywhere that I can see. Any suggestions ?
On another note does anyone know of a good LR mechanic south of Adelaide besides Peter Brown (on holiday) or TRS (over priced & terrible attitude ).

Stick your paws under the front of the fuel cooler. Any coolant weeping off from under there?
Mine is doing the same, I am ordering a couple of new o-rings. About 10 bucks.
