P1000 and P0175, Disco 2 V8.
Hey all,
So my Nanocom arrived yesterday and it works great, really nice bit of gear.
I connected it up and immediately identified a fault with the engine...lol
It is logging the following data;
P1000 = LAMBDA SENSOR UPSTREAM
CATALYST BANK 2 DRIVE CYCLE C
OCCURED 7 TIMES
SIGNAL INVALID
FAULT IS CURRENTLY PRESENT
FAULT DETERMINED AS INTERMITTENT
FAULT DOES NOT CAUSE THE
MIL LAMP ACTIVATION
---
P0175 = MIXTURE ADAPTION FACTOR
FRA BANK 2 DRIVE CYCLE C
OCCURED 1 TIMES
SIGNAL TOO HIGH
FAULT IS CURRENTLY PRESENT
FAULT DETERMINED AS PERSISTENT
FAULT DOES NOT CAUSE THE
MIL LAMP ACTIVATION
---
Ive done some reading and there is a multitude of things to check and work through, probably starting with the MAF and Purge Valve.
I am interested to hear if anyone here has seen the same codes on their vehicle and fixed.
Cheers
Ash

looks like an oxygen sensor,However if this is the first time using the nanacom i would clear the faults,drive around for a week and re test,no telling how old the faults are,they may have already been fixed.

Hmm the sensors were done just before I bought this car and from what I have read the code itself implies that the O2 sensors are functional and accurate.
I cleared the codes yesterday and they came back immediately.
Also cleared adaptive settings and tried again, same prob.

Well you probably are on the right track there mate. Even though the sensors are new it looks like the drivers side connector is soaked with oil from a slow rocker cover leak.
I'll clean it up tomorrow and see how it goes.

Cleaned the harness and sensor today, also changed plugs as the old ones were rooted. So far the 0175 code hasn't logged again, the p1000 is hanging on though..
Thoughts?
The nanocom figures on the bank 2 sensor always seem lower than bank 1,they don't fluctuate as much either.
I might swap them around and see if the figures change.
