    D2 Rijidij Light Pole Install

I thought I'd share my Rijidij Light Pole Install to my D2

I installed the pole to the rear door wheel holder using some stainless steel U clamps - easy enough line everything up drill six holes.
I fed the light wiring through the grommet that takes the rear washer tube, and then through the back of the door to the big grommet between the door and chassis - this was the fiddliest bit.
Then wired it up to a small fuse box I had installed previously, running back to my Aux battery fitted in the rear cubby space.

    Comments:
Great product, super solid, well designed and made, the only thing I would change - I'll probably take it off at some point and paint it black (as the Stones might sing)
It’s nice and bright, useful for better night reversing and as a camp light.
I installed the light pole maybe 10mm to low, and discovered this when I tightened up the spare wheel, the tyre cleat is just touching the light switch. So in the next few days I'll remove the spare wheel loosen the U clamps and slide it up 10mm
I will wire in an interior override light switch so it can’t be switched on by accident from outside and left on

Murray from Rijidij is on this forum, but here’s the link to his site
