Not having a go but your quest to save a buck or 3 has back fired . Would it not be better dealing with someone localy in Aus like Roverlords or alike
If you have a read back a bit you'll see I already know about Britparts.

It wasn't so much an effort to save a buck as it was to try another option. The 2 main bushes people use are Britpart and genuine. I think Bearmack also make some but they aren't common at all. When I ordered the bushes I didn't really have much of idea how they worked. I thought the centre bushes were cushioned just as the Watts to Chassis bushes are but they aren't. I put a good effort into searching for any sort of review about the Flo-Flex Watts bushes but couldn't find anything. So as I said very early on in this thread, I was willing to be the guinea pig. I didn't count on Paddock and Australia Post causing the delays they have.

As for dealing with someone local. Don't get me started. I'm happy to use the small operators for local parts that I need quickly but I don't think it's worth it for them for parts like these. I refuse to pay more than 10% for a part delivered to my door in Australia than I would for a part delivered to my door from anywhere else in the world.

    Happy Days.

Many might have returned to standard but there's also plenty who swear by Super Pro bushes. That's what I'll be using everywhere else. Just they don't make Watts linkage bushes.

Now knowing what's inside the centre watts bushes, there's really no reason to use anything but standard. The cost of getting the inner and outer sleeves machined and then the cost of rose joints, I couldn't see anyone making them much cheaper than genuine and since the standard ones last so long, there's really no reason to change material either.

I just couldn't find any of this info before I started out.

All the Britpart brand oil seals for the front diff I have are in plastic bags of that blue colouring. They however all have a Britpart label on them with part numbers and manufacturing dates.

Yeah mate. I've bought Britpart stuff before and these bags are identical but just no labels.

I'll post some pics soon. I have them in now. The seals are really easy to remove and they were dry inside so I have greased them pretty well.

The centre bushes get a little bit of rotational movement and before I greased them the seals would scrunch up as they dragged against the centre sleeve during rotational movement. Now they move much more freely. Maybe it will make these bushes last a little longer. Maybe it won't.

Never received a reply from Flo Flex confirming the torque specs for their product.

Have yours arrived yet and do they look the same as mine?

Any chance of pics or part no's?

Joel, any chance of CAD or drawings of the centre (chassis attached) section. I might make a billet unit to use a more std bearing. From what I see in the pics there's a bearing in all three holes, yes?

A piece of 4140 for that would be about $20 and about an hour on the mill. Once rebuilt with CNC 0.2 thou resolution
