    tyre size question

    A mate has just brought a 04 d2 update and is planning to fit a 2" lift and bigger tyres. Looking for some information on what would be the biggest tyre suitable for the 18" alloys. Any help much appreciated

    I ran 32" on factory 18" wheels. The issue with enlarging the tyres and not changing the offset is you can reduce your turning circle due to the larger tyres contacting the radius arms.

    I run 30mm wheel spacers and cooper stt 275/65/18 tyres on standard 18" rims. With a 2" lift, 2" bump stops and HD bumper. Never had any issues with rubbing or catching. Turning circle is worse than with 16" rims but it's not that bad. Rides well compared to standard 18" tyres
