D2 Front Brake caliper getting warmish
My right front caliper is getting much warmer than the others. There is far more brake dust on that wheel too.
I replaced the pads as they were worn and it seemed to solve the problem. But now it is starting again.
I read somewhere that the pipes delaminate and do not release the pressure thus causing the brakes to bind. Is this a common failure?
Otherwise is it just a piston binding - disassemble, clean and reassemble with new seals?
Thanks
Paul

The caliper floats on guide pins that may be seized. Remove caliper free and grease pins.

Thanks for that - I cleaned those when I replaced the pads. The caliper seemed to move easily. Pressing the pistons back also felt as difficult as usual.

The pins on my rear calipers were all rusted and seized. The whole rear wheel rim became hot to touch. I bought some new guide pins, boots and lube from rimmerbros, cleaned the calipers with brake cleaner, lubed them up and refitted.
