i've had both too, and agree with the positive commets re the d3 above.

i am now back with a d2 (having moved back overseas) and that is becuase ease of maintenence. i can do a lot myself but also parts are cheap......ish.

d3 parts still command high prices and that is because many of them are for the d4 as well.

Thanks every one for the reply's. Is there any one on here that does their own maintenance on the d3? This probably would be better asked in the d3 pages. I will do that too.
