Remote Key Fob Replacement

Cheaper than anywhere I could find in Aus., they send you the new key fob, plus a gizmo to stick in the computer socket, you program the fob to your vehicle, return the gizmo, get a refund on the gizmo. Hi twitchy what went wrong with your old key not locking unlocking or won't firer up i had a problem with one of mine and all it was was the micro switch had cracked the solder joint i just got new micro switches and soldered them on just like new.

Will have a gander at mine in a minute & see if I can find out if the same as your problem..... freakin hope so.

Off to MR Automotive today to get my new key . & other bits as required !!!

So have you solved your problem?
I need to have a copy of my keys cause I own only 1 key of the car... Can I buy the keys that I fi on eBay for 10$ or do I need to buy a genuine key for more of 100$?

I have bought the e-bay keys and had them cut to the original...I now have 4 working keys (2 new, and 2 original) and 2 original remote internals that can swap into the new fobs.
If you only have the one key, you will need to get the electronics from somewhere and get it tuned to your vehicle if you want 2 fully functional keys.

Ok thank you. Do you know if I can use the electronics from any electronic key or if I have to use the Land Rover one?
