    D2 rear airbags not inflating

    Hi all.
Put spacers in the rear of the Disco today. Everything bolted up fine, but now it seems the bags are not reinflating. How long should it take for them to inflate? What can cause them not to?

Sensor angles now not correct? These determine if inflation is required.

Hi, did you unplug the height sensors?... if yes but the battery was not disconnected too you need to clear the fault code from the SLS memory to make it work again

if you didnt unplug the sensors but lifted the rear you must recalibrate them cos they might be in a new position where theyr output is like for normally inflated bags and then the SLS rests if you see what i mean

The battery was disconnected, and the sensors were not unplugged.
If the battery is left disconnected, will it reset?
If we put the sensors back to the default setting at least?

disconnecting the battery will not reset anything.... you need tester to recalibrate the sensors for the new height or even fit some extension brackets for them to keep the extra inflation of ORM height

If you have fitted spacers under the bags, and haven't adjusted (lengthened) the sensor arms, the car will be thinking that it is in off-road height.

This could be the cause for the compressor not running, as the car is trying to expel air, not put it in.

Whoever sold you the spacers should also have the required bits & pieces for the sensor arms as well.

I don't think I understand what you mean - the brackets to relocate the sensors were fitted as well. Everything needed to space the rear suspension has been fitted, and bolted in AOK.
But now the suspension won't reinflate.
The battery was disconnected the whole time we were changing over the parts. What would cause this? Are you saying that we will need a Nanocom or similar to clear any possible error codes that have been recorded? Or is there something else that could cause the suspension to no inflate? If I push the off road height button, it gives the warning chime 3 times and nothing happens.

Even if you need to re-calibrate the height, you should still get the compressor running.

Check the fuses to make sure one hasn't blown, and maybe swap the relay with another known good one.
