I purchased all 5 shocks from the UK delivered to my house for $330 roughly 18 months ago.
They all retail for $127 each here (Brisbane) - not delivered.
They are TerraFirma AllTerrains (sold by MR Auto).
Easy job to replace them.

Andrew
Terrain Tamer or Tough Dog, made in South America as to made in the USA. Would either do the job as well, or not? Cheers, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I'm also running Terrafirma shocks front and rear. Their +50mm ones TF127 & TF128. Have done the GRR and Mitchell Falls road with them without any issues.
Paid £28 each plus postage, can't give an exact postage figure as they were bought with other things.
For the pricing of the Bilsteins from the USA, they're hard to go past for anyone needing standard height items.
UK has good pricing on KYB or Koni's - both are good brands.
I'd go them over Terra Firma, Terrain Tamer or Tough Dog any day...
mm-4x4.co.uk go to the terrafima part shocks a very cheap there and they will send them to you.
Bob.
I have recently fitted EFS shocks. They seem pretty hard, but probably because the originals were so shagged.
They feel great when the D2a is loaded though....

Give the guys at suspensionstuff.com.au a go.
I've been fitting their gear for years and haven't had a complaint that wasn't adequately resolved.

After I trashed a pair of rear Billies on my RRC after about 30kk from dents, I decided to get cheapies for my D2.
I fitted Monroe Gas magnum TDT .
They have now done a lap towing including the GRR and are still smiling with over 25KK on them.
People rubbish them but they did make OME and I have had no problems .
They are expensive to buy from say Kmart Auto but cheap on ebay.

Hi
I remember reading a test article in Overlander Magazine, when the D2 was the current model and they came to the conclusion that the normal LR shockies were as good as any after market item.
Cheers
