I had the three amigos, fixed the fault using option 'A' had to go a little deeper than the usual documented route. Option 'A' fixes the root of the problem, at least in my case, zero cost other than my time, looks factory still. It's been over six months, no problems.
Here's my account and pics,
Cheers,
Steve.

I had intermittend amigos. The sensor passed every test I could find. No oil int the SVS, did option B (probably unnecessary), swapped sensor left and right to eliminate wheelbearing and brakesqueal.Bought the cheapest sensor I could find on e-bay.I got a short cable one even though it said it was a long one, and it was about 1 mm too long, so I got my money back. Fitted it anyway by bending the tab, and using a cableconnector to connect it to the old cable. Never saw amigos for 2 years.

how are your wheel bearings, turning hard can move the wheel hub which the sensor reads, however i think that throws a sensor fault. As someone said check the simple things first.HTML Code:The Three amigos come on sometimes when I am turning fairly hard therefore it may be a wire twisting or something similar.
I am unsure about how to check the wheel bearings, I will look into this next week when I am doing my service. I will be changing the front+rear Diff Oil and the transfer case oil. I will check the wheels at the same time!
If all the 3 amigos are going out instantly on ignition and the ABS light doesnt stay on alone untill you exceed 15km/h it's not something sensor or hub related, read the fault codes cos even if it's so you must know which one
If its doing it when turning the wheel you may have a crook cable on the front wheels.
With mine if I had the engine running and grabbed the cables and moved them around the pump would activate.
