Back to SLS - Best place to buy air bags?

I decided to switch back to SLS when my next service is due in November.

I will keep the coils "in-case" but i much prefer the ride on SLS and the extra ride height function.

Id rather source the best bags myself rather than paying my LR man a margin..

Where is the best deals around? Im after Contitech or Dunlop.. May do the shocks at the same time.

    Dollars or brand?

    you seem to want both

You should send lots of emails to England, and 1 to Australia.

I've heard of lots of ten year old bags fail in the roll,
and I've heard of a few bags fail due to stakes,,
I've heard of a "series" of brand name bags fail at the clamp,,

I reckon 75% of the original bags are still going strong.

    not bad past 15 years.

Prefer Quality and Brand over $$$$ , just rather save a little if I can get a good deal.

The ones on my car were Contitech (Continetal Tyres Germany) Also I heard that LR used Dunlop. I heard Arnott are not good.

Which brand are the originals? What would you recommend from what you have ready over time if I'm prepared to pay?...Rob

After learning the hard way, ie Arnott, I wouldn't use anything but Contitech. My replacement bag made in Germany part SK 112-24. Identical to the LR bag just not branded LR.

I went with Dunlops from paddocks. £50 sounds better than $260, although shipping costs are a bit painful. Mine were pinholed inside the roll where dirt gets stuck against the piston, but 14 years service is not bad?

The last time I replaced mine I added a small length as the hose seemed quite tight,, this also gave me the option of external inflation if the compressor failed.
