    Hey Ian,

No mate, I haven't had it on any diagnostic machine yet, although the Landy guy kindly offered to run a diagnostic check if I drop in. Think I'll do that anyway, but I've given it a couple of runs today, and can't get it to repeat the issue as yet.

    Cheers for the info, BTW.

Thinking about it.....does anyone in the Bayside area own/have access to a Nanocom? I'd be interested to meet up and run it over my TD5...

Mine has just started doing exact same thing too!! Its like it doesnt know ive put my foot on the accelerator! It used to do it then replacing MAF, a gasket on turbo return line and warped manifold fixed it but now its doing it again.MAP sensor next on list to check out.

Keep this thread updated with what you find, mine has started doing this too occasionally, and I don't know if it is a wastegate problem or dirty sensor. I am saving for a nanocom.

I have bypassed my wastegate modulator to see if this is the problem but doesn't seem to be. Cheap to check that, have a read here www.discovery2.co.uk / Waste Gate Modulator - Over boosting

    Hi Kev

A couple of years ago I had the same problem. Traced it to a dead MAF sensor. Once replaced I have never had the problem again.

X2 others comments re checking the wiring from the sensor across the front of the engine and cleaning the MAP sensor.

    Cheers

Hey guys! Since cleaning both the MAF and inlet temperature sensor with contact cleaner, I've had no issues at all. The (MAP) sensor was really minging, though. I suspect that contributed to the issue considerably, so I would start there!!

Unfortunately, in true Landy style, I'm now troubled by the Three Amigo's!! Ah well, c'est la vie...!

I can't help you now but my mum lives in Hampton. When ever I visit I could let you know and my Nanocom lives in my car.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Yup! Mine looked like that, too. You may find a big improvement now.
