Might help if you put up a few pictures of your vehicles interior for identification purposes.

I believe that Microcat can also tell you based on your VIN being inputted into the program.

Post us your full vin, microcat will tell what trim you have.

SALLTGM271A296963 Built 23/8/2000 (2001 Model) = Colour is Blenheim Silver (642) with Ash Smokestone Interior (Grey) The fabric pattern you have was used from mid 2000 and is known as "Wall Fabric". 1999-2000 models used a different pattern known as "Cumbria Fabric".

Is it the only grey used in disco 2s?

That ash smokestone (grey) was used from 1999 to 2002 with the two different fabric patterns. Probably the most common colour in the earlier Discovery 2s.

2003 and 2004 used a dark greenish colour (Dark Tundra) that looks similar to the earlier grey until you put the two together. You will find a label on the inside of the door trims that indicates the colour and pattern.
