Td5 and V8 run the same ZF gearbox .... So yes, same coolers (if we're talking aftermarket retrofits).

Nope they are different from the factory. The v8 is longer but not as high and the mounting points are different. I tried one :-(

Yep all gets abit confusing TD5 apparently have two types depends on the VIN

Thanks. I'll have to look into that as I'm setting up for towing a camper trailer and trans cooler upgrade is on the list ... Don't suppose you know if there was a size difference between the different VIN numbered vehicles trans coolers ?

Nope don't know about the update size PWR have a tranny cooler that I am planning to add to my existing factory one. About $180 from memory but need to work on how to plumb it in.

Anyone put one of these in? Cheers Matt
