    D2 V8 Gear Change

    Gday team,
My 04 disco v8 is changing gears a little but strangely...First to second is fine but second seems to hold for longer than it used to, and then when it finally changes to third it almost immediately changes into fourth...Its only started happening recently... anyone had this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

Maf sensor is only a few months old. I haven't changed the oil in the gearbox yet although he car has only just ticked over to 80000. It's on my to do list, can this be the cause, can it?

It will even do this going up a hill under acceleration. Could resetting the computer fix the fault? i.e disconnect the battery for awhile?

Do you mean from 3rd to 4th?
yea, the V8's will do that,, even uphill,,

I manually keep mine in 3rd up/over hills
    where it has a problem.

Nanocom /Hawkeye or similar can reset the Auto to Adaptive values just like resetting engine adaptive values.
