    Do All Lt230 fit.

    Gday guys I have been offered a deal on a cheap transfer case (with cdl) for My 2002 discovery that does not have CDL Internals. Do all the Lt230's have the same front output section as this is the only section I would replace since the rest of my transfer case is very quiet and low Km's.
    Below are some photos of it.

    That LT230 is probably off a Discovery series 1 or Defender (different ratio). That front housing does not have the Hi-Lo switch that is fitted to a Disco 2 - need that switch to tell the vehicle electronics that High or Low Ratio has been selected. Additionally that rear housing has the speedo drive - a Discovery 2 does not have that.

    I picked one up for $600.00 from a LR wrecker with CDL, all good. This seems to be the average price, and they are coming up for sale more often given the age of the D2.
