    Thumbs up

Hi guys. Bought 2 new keyfob housings for Discovery II that came complete with new micro switches to solder onto PCB of transmitter and batteries to boot!
E.Bay seller electricbestbuy on eBay. Cost me $23.98 plus $6.00 postage for two. These saved me a few hundred dollars as LR wanted over $400 each!
Just removed old buttons from PCB and soldered on new ones. (Comes with 4 x micro switches per fob but only 2 needed each). If you are confident with very small soldering jobs these work great and cannot tell them apart from originals. Would recommend these to anyone needing to replace fobs with dodgy buttons. Cheers. Baz.

(You do have to ensure the replacement switch is flush against the transmitter PCB when soldering them in place). Would recommend these to anyone needing to replace fobs with dodgy buttons. Cheers. Baz.

I also rescued my second key by this method off eBay.

Wow. I bought a key fob off the same seller, it was about 7 or 8 dollars, first one got lost a after almost 2 months, second one turned up a month later.

I got the ****s whilst waiting and bought one from a Brisbane based locksmiths joint, same price, turned up in 2 days and ended up being a genuine Valeo shell.
