correct but depends on how you drive just because I would drive a comp truck would not mean I drive different then now and tear up tracks still same principles as slow as possible and with as little wheel spin as possible. saw on the weekend as Gees Arm South a couple of motorbike riders tearing up the last exit steps like there was no tomorrow ... all depends on how you drive

yep luckily still have a Defender for the moderate tracks and thinking getting double locked D1 on 32 or 33 just for the fun of it

Fancy that, I may well know exactly where a twin locked D1 on 33's is that might just suite your requirements Steve. .... :angel: ;)

yea like shooting things to but haven't had a chance beside the rang for a while.

you could argue that even with 33 or 35 you mess it up for people with 31.

still argue that if a comp truck is driven properly on same tracks as a tuck with 35 it will cause far less damage as a struggling truck with 35".

they drive in competitions, private properties and sometime in SF which will get bulldozed over at some stage anyway.

@Terry - you still can come wheeling with us [emoji6] just had a D4 and Jeep up with us at Gees Arm South there are nearly always several options for different vehicles

I completely agree with this!

I still maintain that the most fun I've ever had four wheel driving was in my old, stock, Tdi D1, with sway bars, 29" tyres and no lift... You actually had to pick a line, tracks that my cars walk up now, were fun and involved.

But to each their own :p

I'll just keep following the trucks on 35's, in my Rangie on 32's :wasntme:

na mate tyres are a factor but I had same issue on KM2 and 33" just not so extreme, it definitely can be improved and I will get it sorted one way or another :-)

and I'm having always fun 4wd no matter what tyres but also love to modify improve and built my trucks so I have double fun [emoji16]

I think up to 35" or 315/75R16 is justifiable as a large number of Land Cruiser and Patrols run this size and so a lot of tracks can be worn away to suit this sort of tyre size. In saying that the diff pumpkins of a Patrol are rather large so a D2 on 33" probably has similairish clearances. Beyond 35" is excessive without some very good reason/justification both in that it's limited in ability to be engineered, beyond the normal sizing and to be done properly adds a lot of additional expenses and work.
